Normally, I do thankful this week for, but it seemed only appropriate on the "day of thankfulness" to reflect on the 10 things in 2010 that I'm most thankful for.
This Thanksgiving, I'm starting a new tradition of asking everyone at dinner what 10 things they are thankful for. I encourage you to do the same!
***
Then...
Write about it & come back and tell us.
Or just write what you're thankful for.
Or just write what you're thankful for.
You can do this one of two ways.

I am thankful this YEAR for....
ReplyDelete1. JESUS calling us deeper (repentance, teachings, wooings, time, & vision through men of God)
2. JOSH, my husband, who is running the race with endurance and taking me with him, taking care of us, his patience with me, his fatherhood.
3. LOVE, my sweet daughter born 7 months ago
4. LIFE-the Lord kept me here after hemorrhaging after the birth
5. PIERCE-my 3 year old who makes us laugh everyday and fills our life with adventure
6. the FARMHOUSE and land the Lord put in our lap literally (free) and fullfilled His Word to us from May 2009.
7. Close SISTERS in Christ and mommies to share life with {Abigail, Candra, Crystal, and all the sweet ladies in our fellowship}
8. PICTURES-I too enjoy the creative outlet of photography and we have captured the most amazing pictures and moments this year more than any other year.
9. FRONT PORCH SWING-never had one until the year and we spend a lot of time there
10. SIMPLICITY-life is simple but deep right now-I am home a lot and love it-watching stars, bonfires, eating from the garden-these are moments I cherish this year.
And thank you for being thankful for me-I love you!
oh you know it's hard for me to not go over so here's number 11-BLOGS...this is my first year to follow a blog & I follow three occasionally visiting a few others. It has been refreshing to my soul & mind and laughter is always good-thank you Nation & Nation's mommy.
ReplyDeletehow could I forget....number 12-HOSPITALITY...this has been a theme for us since moving to farmhouse. Church meeting here every other week, friends spending the night, dinners, family get-togethers, big breakfasts, good conversation about the Lord, friends coming to play in "the play room" (which would be my number 13 I am thankful for), drop-ins (which I really do love), girls's night. What I used to call hospitality was really entertainment but through an older sister in the Lord's example and Nancy Campbell's book The Family Meal Table and Hospitality my heart has been awakened. ok, I really will get on with my day now.
ReplyDeleteYou have so much to be thankful for - as we all do. I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving.
