Thankful Thursday #91

Thankful This Week For...

...three boys who sit at the piano. Okay, well, even if they aren't "playing at" the piano, they are all enjoying something educational. Well, okay, maybe it was videos on YouTube of people playing Mario Brothers. Maybe. You'll never know. So you can't in good faith, judge me fully ; )

What are you thankful for?

Thankful Thursday #90

Thankful this week for...
...honesty.

It's been a few hard weeks hence me not completing my thankful list. I'm struggling to be thankful. Probably would feel better if I did. Either way, hang in there with me. Pray. I'm thankful my girlfriends and I had a great time Friday on my birthday. We went to dinner at One Midtown Kitchen and saw Motherhood The Musical, and had a late dessert afterwards at Cafe Intermezzo. Love them. [And Erin!]

16 Weeks

I turned 16 weeks this weekend with pregnancy #4 [as well as 28 years old!]. I'm feeling good. Nausea has been gone for about a month so still I'm attempting to regain a normal life. I've been trying to hop on the elliptical everyday for 30-60 minutes, but have ended up about only 3 days a week. So I hope to increase this. I'm adding lots more water back into my life, not as much veggies as I need though.

I had my first midwife appoint at my house on Saturday. All was great. Gained 7 pounds. My urine test was all clear. My blood pressure was low & good. Found the babies heart beat & midwife heard 3 movements. I'm measuring on schedule and it looks like one baby.

On Monday I felt the baby move while sitting at the table doing homeschool. I wasn't sure if I really did or not, but sure enough it's happen several more times this week---including what I can only describe as a larger movement or kick when I squatted once to pick up toys and apparently squished the baby. Ha.

I look forward to the next few weeks enjoying all the fluttering and then kicks!

Scrapbooking Weekend Retreat

Last Friday, my bestie, Sarah, and I went away for the weekend [Friday-Sunday] to a scrapbooking retreat about an hour away. There were about 30 ladies there. I have only been on one other and it was about 6 years ago, so I was very excited [especially have my 2 year scrapbooking hiatus] to get back in the game. After all, I have a baby that is due to arrive in 6 months and I haven't even started Moses' baby album. Did I mention he just turned 2?

I only do a first year album [paper] for my individual kids, and then a once a year album [use to be paper, now it's gonna be digital] for our entire family. That album includes pictures and stories from everyone in our family and all that we did that year. It's just too much work and not enough time for me to make 18 albums for all our current and future children. I mainly use Creative Memories supplies, but also enjoy the occasional stop by Archivers

I'm a slow scrapbooker, but I got about 22 pages done over the course of 2 full days. I did talk, eat, and sleep a lot too. Did I mention I had to choose, print, and organize over 450+ photos in date order first?

I'd say it wasn't uncommon for women in that retreat to get between 50-100 pages done.

Moses' album will end up about 80 pages, here are the first 22.

Atlanta Zoo

Took the kids to the Zoo last week. Can't complain about the 66 degree & sunny weather.

I don't bring my real camera to the Zoo, I'm not that brave...or crazy

Solomon asked us every 5 minutes the entire day if we were going on the Merry-Go-Round [Carousal] Yet!

Suffice to say---Nation thought he was awesome at it

Not the best end to be at while brushing---lucky for him he didn't get kicked

Petting Zoo is always a hit

My sitter, Katie, sat with Nation & Solomon on the train

Moses was my train companion
